19 Mar First Retail Street in Oldham is “Virtually” Complete!
As you may have heard Tour.Media has been helping to improve Oldham’s tourism & spending by integrating Google Virtual Tours of local businesses and charities with Google Search, Google Maps and Google+.
We are happy to announce our George Street project is now complete and we would like to thank all the participating businesses! We are greatly appreciative for your involvement and glad we have helped to improve your visual appeal, sales and enquires.
One of Oldham busiest retail high streets is now over 90% virtual meaning anyone can virtually walk inside all these shops:
Winos, Calamity Jane’s Sandwich Saloon, The George Tavern, Lees Heginbotham, Tech Experts, Vintage 55, , Mobiles 4 U, Asiana Beauty Clinic, Al-noor Gift Shop, Occasions Florist, Greentree Lettings, Northwood Lettings, Charcoal Grill, Sugar Flair Cakes and Bargains 4 Less Super Store
‘Google Maps Business View’ is the latest marking business tool and an expansion of Google Street View technology. Potential customers will be taken on a 360 degree panoramic and interactive virtual tour of the inside of a shop or business. All vital details about the business will feature at the top of Google when the business name is searched, then by clicking ‘See inside’ a potential customer will be able to virtually look around. Customers will also be able to navigate to the front door of the premises through Google Maps and then interactively walk inside. The virtual tour can be accessed and linked to the website of the business.
Daryl Jackson a local Google Trusted Photographer and Director of Tour.Media says, “A Google virtual tour produced by Tour.Media can enhance the presence of a business across Google, improving the online visual appeal whilst helping to increase sales and enquires. Virtual tours can be easily added to any website which will boost it’s credible content and improve it’s Google ranking. It is very exciting to increase the online presence of local businesses in my home town and help to improve spending and tourism throughout the Oldham Borough.”
